We are a proud Brazilian family business with a clear purpose: to contribute to the sustainable evolution of the "Cerrado Mineiro" by producing extraordinary coffees. Our story began in 1980, and over the decades, we’ve continually refined our craft, using the most advanced technologies to unlock the full potential of this special terroir in coffee production.

HISTORY IN COFFEE GROWING

Since 2018, DBarbosa Coffee has been wholeheartedly dedicated to the production of specialty coffees. After numerous achievements and awards, we reached the pinnacle by becoming Brazilian Cup of Excellence Champions in 2021. Our journey began in 1980 when the opportunity to explore the Cerrado and its favorable topography for agriculture arose. Danilo Barbosa, together with his father, Jairo Barbosa de Paula (in memoriam), took the first steps on a small property.

 

Today, Danilo leads the business alongside his family, maintaining the tradition of excellence. By embracing standout coffee varieties and cutting-edge technology, we soon realized we were producing something truly unique. During this journey of more than forty years, we have evolved into the specialty coffee category and stood out in renowned competitions.

 

We are a global reference in specialty coffees, proud to share our passion for coffee cultivation with enthusiasts around the world. Our story is a celebration of our commitment to quality and the continuous pursuit of excellence, all set in the beautiful lands of the Cerrado Mineiro.

Danilo is the visionary behind DBarbosa Coffee. His enthusiasm and energy are contagious, and his true passion lies in coffee production. He finds beauty in the plants and is dedicated to cultivating exceptional coffees that reflect his love for the land.

Dona Imaculada is the solid foundation behind Mr. Danilo, providing unwavering support in his management and actively participating in cultivation. A participant in the "Women Who Inspire in the World of Coffee" movement, she is a true coffee lover, always savoring a good cup, and she is also an exceptional cook.

Deyvid is a true wizard when it comes to coffee quality. With 20 years of experience in coffee farming, he is responsible for quality control, fermentation processes and marketing of our specialty coffees in the domestic and foreign markets.

Marcos Bontempo

A true master in all aspects of specialty coffee production. With more than 15 years of experience in coffee farming, he is responsible for controlling the quality, classification, roasting and tasting processes of our exceptional coffees, and supervises and monitors the certification and traceability processes.

Joyce Letícia

Joyce is our accounting specialist, especially in the export area. Her experience and skills ensure that all international business transactions are handled accurately and efficiently.

Valeria Morais

Valéria has been a long-time accountant at the company since 1993 and Mr. Danilo's right-hand woman, playing a fundamental role in the company's financial management.

Administrator dedicated to the company's administrative and cost control processes, ensuring efficiency and precision in our operations.

Diego Antônio

Diego Antônio is responsible for managing production and activities at Fazenda Sucuri in Coromandel. Its dynamic and agile approach reflects its passion for producing high-quality coffees in post-harvest processes.

EU representative and salesperson

Sávio Oliveira

UE Direct Trader

Sávio entered the world in 2018 and jumped in head first, taking barista, roasting, classification and tasting courses at the best schools in Brazil. He worked for 2 years on the farms and quality laboratory to learn everything about coffee cultivation and is now our direct sales representative in the European Union.
